Project Narrative:
Under the Future High Street Funding provided by DLUHC, Ashfield District Council have been awarded £3.6m to acquire long term vacant units along Sutton in Ashfield’s high streets to repurpose and bring them back to life.
The Council have acquired 2 properties to date, 14 Low Street and 9-11 Low Street, both of which are run down and are in need of extensive refurbishment. Both properties are undergoing designs to convert the ground floor to lettable office space and the upper floor(s) to residential units.
Kinver Solutions have been appointed to fulfil the Project Management service on behalf of the Council to lead the team to find a sustainable solution for these units and complete construction by 2024.
